Clean To Keep My Sanity.

A messy home messes up my entire flow; especially when there are unexpected changes such as an erratic work schedule and family (which is happening far more often). When I return home I find I have no energy to do anything, so of course I drop things where they are, and leave them there. After about a week, I am stressed, cranky, and pissed off, because my home is where I come to destress after spending the day dealing with stress and other issues.

So I attempt to keep it clean as much as possible (I do laundry every week; too much stress to do it every 2 weeks like in the past; no longer have a washer or dryer; I go to the laundromat .) I am not nearly as messy as I used to be; however I do better on some days then on others.

Clean up for company? That is why I do not have company over; to clean , invite company over, company makes a mess (not to mention having "childproof" your home), company leaves and you're having to clean up again.

That's double work. No way. There is not enough of me to go around.
