Being In Charge for a Day (Thank God)

We all have anxieties, worries, and fears. What are you scared of? Address one of your worst fears.

Here’s the twist: Write this post in a style distinct from your own.

The following  is more of an anxiety than it is a fear; nonetheless, it is up there.

I arrive at work.

I begin to prepare for my day.

I get word that my supervisor (work flow, line manager, whatever you call them) will be out of the office today due to an emergency.

Through the process of  elimination, that leaves me in charge.

My stomach just dropped down to my feet.

I have no idea what or how to prepare for this day.

R–I–N–G!   First sup call (The word “sup” is a shortened word for supervisor).

I answered the call with sweaty hands, my heart beating at a zillion miles an hour, and the biggest tension headache ever.

The call is over for now.

I am counting down to when this day will be over.

R–I–N–G! Another sup call!

I am going to be sick today.
