Tribute

The following is my tribute written in remembrance of Ricardo “Ric” Morales, a co-worker who passed away suddenly on Tuesday, May 12 .  Rest in peace, sweet angel.

Dearest Ric,

I hate good-byes, especially long ones. So I will make this short and to the point.

Thank you for sharing your time and talent unselfishly, and not asking for anything in return.

Thank you for sharing your “words of wisdom” and your dry sense of humor.

Thank you for accompanying me in singing those wonderful “old-school” songs.

Now there are other fine qualities that would describe you to a “T”; but as I said earlier, I will keep this short and to the point.

So in closing, thank you for being that rare gem, that diamond in the rough who shared your gifts because you wanted to and not because you had to. Know that you made a difference here among us.

You will be deeply missed.

We will meet up again.   Bye for now.
