At Home. And Where The Hell Were You?

In response to the Daily Post’s writing prompt:

“Where were you Thursday Night at midnight?”

“Would you have wanted to be somewhere else?”

Considering I am writing this two days later (hence the tweaking of the prompt), here are my responses:

I was at home in bed sound asleep. Hell, I even missed Anderson Cooper bring in the new year on TV.  That is how tired my behind was. I was to have gone to a party, but I did not get off work early enough to attend  (I was secretly hoping to get off early),  and by the time I had gotten home it would have taken another 2 hours before I had gotten there  (we are talking about a bath, changing of clothes and drive time). It was not worth it, so I bathe, prayed, brushed my teeth, and called it a night.

As for the second question of would I have wanted to be somewhere else? No. I more likely have fallen asleep at the party, so home in my bed was exactly where I needed to be.
